Three layers of noise scroll upward at different speeds and are pulled sideways by a fourth, which is what makes flames lick instead of drift. A mask anchored at the bottom fades the heat out with height; the colour ramp goes black, deep red, orange, yellow, white. Heat raises the flames, Turbulence breaks them up, and Style pushes it from photoreal toward a flat, banded graphic flame. In the course this is the FireBurst node, fired on every asteroid hit.
