Quick Start

Get your first .riv file running in under a minute.

1. Download the app

[Download on the App Store]

Requires iOS 18.0+ or iPadOS 18.0+

2. Load a .riv file

From URL:

  1. Copy a link to any .riv file (GitHub, CDN, direct link)

  2. Open Rive Playground

  3. Tap Load from URL

  4. Paste and load

From device:

  1. Tap Import from Files

  2. Select your .riv file from Files, iCloud, or Dropbox

💡 GitHub URLs automatically convert to raw format.

3. Start testing

Your animation loads immediately. Now you can:

Trigger inputs

Open Inputs panel → toggle, adjust, fire

Edit data binding

Open Data Binding panel → change any property

View logs

Open Console → watch state changes and events

Hide UI

Two-finger long press (1.5s)
